Although there are several methods available for the extender login and setup processes. These are the WPS, WiFi app, and web setup processes. In these processes, you will require to use the WPS button for the first approach. Whereas, for the other remaining approaches, there will be a need to access the login and setup portals. In the WiFi app setup process, get the Linksys app on your networked device and execute the process by using the on-screen directions. The app will ask you some basic details and also provide you the instructions to complete the process. 

Whereas, in the last approach that is the web-based setup method, you can visit the portal using http//extender.linksys.com. This is the default web address of the extender which you will need to insert in the browser’s search field. In any case, that page is not accessible to you using the web address, you can opt to search for IP. Doing so will take you to the extender login page, from where you can reach the setup portal after logging in. But, make sure to fill in the login details with accurate spacing and other characters.
