As technology rapidly progresses, the demand for advanced safety solutions becomes increasingly crucial. Fast, Hassle-Free Installation of world-class safety solutions with advancement in technology are transforming everything around us.

While cameras are ubiquitous, found on streets and in nearly every location, their primary role is to help identify criminals after a crime has occurred. Unfortunately, they are not particularly effective in preventing crimes in real-time.

Our Product, the Mutelcor LoRa Panic Button with Confirmation, is the perfect solution to fill this gap.

LoRa Technology

LoRa (Long-Range) is a wireless technology that operates on unlicensed sub-gigahertz radio frequencies. It is designed to enable long-range transmissions with low power consumption, making it ideal for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Each LoRa Panic Button is equipped with a LoRa chip. This chip communicates with the LoRa Gateway, which then relays the message to the Network Server via various internet connections (Wi-Fi, LAN, 4G). This robust network ensures reliable and timely delivery of distress signals.

Advantages of LoRa Technology

  • Extended Coverage: LoRa Panic Buttons offer exceptional coverage, with a remarkable world record range of 1,336 km in optimal conditions. This ensures that signals can be transmitted over vast distances, making the technology suitable for extensive deployments.
  • Low Power Consumption: These devices are highly efficient in terms of power usage. A LoRa Panic Button powered by two AA batteries can remain operational for over five years, minimizing maintenance effort and avoiding need for any recharging.
  • High Connectivity: A single LoRa Gateway can connect with over 1,000 LoRa devices, facilitating large-scale network implementations without compromising on performance.

How does the Mutelcor LoRa Panic Button with Confirmation work?

The Mutelcor LoRa Panic Button with Confirmation is an integral part of a sophisticated network comprising wireless Panic Buttons, LoRa Gateways and a LoRa Network Server. When the wireless Panic Button is pressed, it sends a message to the gateway, which then forwards it to the Network Server. While many panic buttons merely send a message, Mutelcor’s LoRa Panic Button stands out with its unique confirmation feature.

Upon receiving the alarm, the backend application can trigger a response, indicating to the user through the built-in buzzer and LED whether the alarm has been processed. If the system does not receive the message, the Panic Button will start to beep rapidly after 40 seconds, signaling that the button needs to be pressed again. This confirmation feature assures the user that help is on the way.
